The Collaborative Learning Center (CLC) is offering free workshops available to York College students! Join to brush up on fundamental skills!

Writing & Study Skills Workshops

All writing and study skills workshops will take place on Zoom, from 12 pm - 1:50 pm on the following dates:

• October 2, 2021: Thesis Statements 
• October 9, 2021: Study Skills
• November 6, 2021: Using Evidence/Body Paragraphs 
• November 13, 2021: Academic Research 

Grammar Workshops

All grammar workshops will take place on Zoom, from 12 pm - 1:50 pm on the following dates:

• October 16, 2021: Basic Sentence Structure 
• October 23, 2021: Run-ons & Fragments 
• November 20, 2021: Subject-Verb Agreement  
• December 4, 2021: Punctuation
