Mr. Sarwar has extensive experience in computer science, library science, and information technology. In his role as the Library Department's liaison to the IT Department, he leverages his proficiency to facilitate seamless communication between Academic and IT department Administrators. This entails coordinating and collaborating on technology-related matters. A pivotal aspect of his current role involves the adept management of intricate and technical library resources, catering to the needs of students and faculty. As a Systems Admin, Mr. Sarwar ensures a cohesive interface between the York College Library and electronic vendors/producers, streamlining the flow of information, products, and services. He diligently oversees diverse IT infrastructures supporting the library department, encompassing network, hardware, and software, both on campus and remotely. As a representative of the CUNY-YORK leadership, Mr. Sarwar actively supports his PSC colleagues in CUNY-Wide projects.
