Dr. Qin Yang Latchman is an Assistant Professor in Health and Human Performance, specializing in Physical/Adapted Physical Education and Special Education. She holds a Ph.D. (Texas Woman’s University), an M.S. in Sports Psychology (Southern Connecticut State University), and B.S. in Physical Education (East China Normal University). With experience teaching 13 courses in physical/health education PreK-12, her research focuses on physical activity interventions for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and promoting inclusive community-based programs for families with members with disabilities. Committed to equity in health, Dr. Latchman bridges academia and practice, advancing adaptive strategies and mentoring future educators.
