I joined the Army Reserve shortly after I graduated high school. I then attended Queens College/CUNY and received a BA in Chemistry. I went on to teach Chemistry and Physical Science on the secondary level for four years. I got a job as an analytical chemist for a specialty chemical manufacturer. After the company shutdown, I began working at York. While working at York, I completed my Master’s degree in Chemistry, conferred May 28, 2009. I was given the opportunity to work as adjunct lecturer in 2010. Then I was promoted to senior CLT in August 2014.
