Dr. Carrasquilla-Lopez joined the York College Nursing Department in the fall of 2020 as an Assistant Professor. She is a board-certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner and a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. She earned her BSN from Hunter College, her MSN, and postmasters from Stonybrook University. She earned her DNP from Wilkes University in 2019. Her research interests include nursing handoff, online education for nursing students, delivery room management of the neonate, and evidence-based nursing care in clinical practice.
