CUNY Queens Borough-wide Lavender Graduation and York Disabled Student Recognition Ceremony at York College
The CUNY Queens Lavender Graduation and York Disabled Student Recognition Ceremony celebrates the achievements and resilience of LGBTQ+ and disabled students at CUNY Queens Colleges and York College. It honors their academic accomplishments, leadership, and contributions to the campus community.
A graduation celebration for LGBTQIA+ undergraduate and graduate students and their allies at York College, Queens College, Queensborough Community College, LaGuardia Community College and CUNY Law School and their guests will be held on Friday, May 24th, 2024, to honor the academic achievements and contributions of our esteemed graduates.
The ceremony typically includes speeches, awards, and recognition of students' achievements, providing a supportive and inclusive space for these students to be celebrated.
Graduates will be presented with certificates and lavender honor cords at the ceremony. Graduates may pick up their free rainbow tassels and free framed portraits during the reception.
