Brett Austin Walker

Movement Science (BS), Class of 2019

Dr. Brett Austin Walker PT, DPT, MPH began his journey to become a physical therapist at York College. To acquire the foundational knowledge necessary to succeed at the graduate level, he chose our Movement Science program, earning his BSc in 2019. He then began working as a physical therapy aide and as an orthotic fitter. In 2020, he entered a Master of Public Health program at SUNY Downstate, which he completed in 2021. Soon afterwards, he began Physical Therapy studies at Tufts University. In December of 2023, Brett was awarded his Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Brett now works at an outpatient orthopedic facility and is enrolled in an orthopedic residency program to become an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist.
