The Campus Community,

We are thrilled to announce that the Track and Field has officially reopened as of Monday, August 12th, 2024! This space is part of our ongoing commitment to invest in and enhance our campus, providing a vibrant and dynamic environment for both our college community and the Jamaica Queens Community.

Whether you’re looking to get some exercise, enjoy the outdoors, or simply take a walk, this newly improved facility is designed to serve your needs. We’re excited to see it become a hub of activity and wellness for everyone.

Public Hours:

  • Monday through Friday: 8:00 AM - 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM

  • While the track and field currently need to be vacated before dusk (4:00 PM) due to the absence of lighting, we’re excited to share that specialized lighting will soon be installed as part of the next phase of our ongoing improvements. This will allow for extended use of the track in the future.
