Application

The Office of Academic Affairs invites applications from full-time York College faculty (tenured, tenure-track, and lecturers) to participate in a Faculty Publication Workshop.

Submission Process

The workshop welcomes applications from full-time faculty in all disciplines and departments, including the library.

Workshop participants will meet once a month, in person, for two hours on Tuesdays, 2:00-4:00, from September 2024 to May 2025, excluding January. At each meeting, participants will discuss each other’s work and offer written and oral feedback based on a guided peer review process.

Eligibility Requirements

To apply, faculty must:

  1. Be full-time tenure-track or tenured professors, or lecturers;
  2. Commit to working on a scholarly project intended for publication in their discipline;
  3. Commit to attend monthly meetings in person on Tuesday 2:00-4:00, and provide criticism, orally and in writing;
  4. Submit an application by April 17, 2024 5:00 pm.

Applications are due by April 17, 2024 5:00 pm. Accepted applicants will be notified by May 17, 2024.
