Summer Internship Program

The New York City Department of Youth & Community Development offers the Ladders for Leaders Program for local high school and college students between the ages of 16 to 21.

The program matches adolescents with professional opportunities within corporations, government agencies, and non-profit organizations. We offer resume revisions, mock interviews, and other free resources. Our team will outline the application process, share alumni experiences, and answer any questions participants may have.

• Students ages 16-21
• NYC residents in all 5 boroughs
• GPA 3.0+
• Prior work/volunteer experience
• Legally authorized to work in NYC
