Dear Prospective Students:
Welcome to the Occupational Therapy Program. Our program has a rich and long history in the CUNY system as well as in the community. York College offers an accredited combined degree program leading to a Bachelor of Science in Health Science and a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy. York College is proud to be one of the senior colleges situated in the City University of New York, the largest urban university system in the United States. Since 1978, our graduates have successfully entered the occupational therapy profession with distinction and many have taken on roles of certified advanced practitioners, mentors, managers, administrators, educators, consultants, entrepreneurs, and researchers within the profession.
We boast a culturally diverse, small cohort size (40 students) admitted per year, with all of the CUNY student, academic, and library resources at your disposal York College offers an accredited combined degree program leading to a Bachelor of Science in Health Science and Master of Science in Occupational Therapy. Our distinguished and diverse faculty is committed to helping each of our students achieve their goal of obtaining a graduate degree in Occupational Therapy. A great fact to know is that the majority of our faculty are York College Occupational Therapy Alumni. These faculty members believe in the quality of education the York College Occupational Therapy program gave them to become seasoned clinicians and have returned to maintain that standard of quality and serve as role models for students in the program. They bring with them a passion for the profession and learning, as well as tremendous pride in being alumni of this program. Today, there are many choices for those seeking professional occupational therapy education.
