Cientifico Latino: Changing the Next Generation of STEM

Cientifico Latino, Inc. is a non-profit organization that aims to promote an environment of inclusivity in STEM and increase the number of scientists from minoritized backgrounds in higher education in the sciences through mentorship, open-access resources, and professional development opportunities.

Dr. Robert W. Fernandez is a York College alumnus, Junior Simons Fellow at Columbia University, and the Executive Director of Cientifico Latino, Inc. He returns to York to discuss the resources Cientifico Latino offers for students applying to internships, graduate school, PhD programs, and jobs.
