English Proficiency Workshops

The FREE English Proficiency workshop is for students who are not certified as proficient based on their high school and/or academic records and need to be certified in order to enroll at York.

Workshop Details

• All Workshops Are Free
• Workshops contain homework, assignments and three graded essays
• Workshops typically run for two weeks, 10 days, Mondays to Fridays, days or evenings
• Workshops typically run from May to August for fall semester enrollment and from December and January for spring.
• Passing the workshop is based on attendance, completion of assignments and the average of graded essays 

Summer 2024 English Proficiency Workshop Offerings

• July 8 - July 19, Fully Onnlie with online live sessions from 6:00 pm - 10:30pm (Monday to Friday)
• July 31 - August 13, Fully Onnlie with online live sessions from 1:00 pm - 5:30pm (Monday to Friday)
