NYC Area Shelters
The Department of Homeless Services (DHS) provides temporary emergency housing to individuals and families and Intake Centers are available to begin the process of temporary to permanent housing pathways.
DHS Ombudsman
Assist with concerns, grievances, and accommodations needed for constituents residing in DHS residencies while experiencing homelessness.
Emergency Housing Services (EHS)
Available to individuals and families facing displacement due to fire or city-issued vacate orders.
