Spring 2024 Classes Will NOT Be Deregistered For Non-Payment

Dear Student,

The Office of the Bursar hopes this message finds you in good spirits. As we approach the start of the spring 2024 semester, we would like to highlight the following crucial details regarding your financial responsibility with the college:

1. Financial Responsibility is Yours: The college will not automatically deregister or drop your spring 2024 courses due to non-payment. If you opt not to attend the spring 2024 semester, you must drop your courses in CUNYfirst by 11:59 p.m. on January 24, 2024. Otherwise, you will be held financially responsible for the tuition and fees.

2. Outstanding Balances: Your financial responsibility also extends to any unpaid balances from past or future semesters. Check your CUNYfirst account to ensure you promptly settle your balances.

3. Payment Options:

Review the payment methods on the Bursar website. If you need additional time to pay your bill, consider enrolling in the interest-free Nelnet Payment plan. Any payment plan enrollment questions can be addressed by calling Nelnet at 1-888-470-6014

4. Seeking Financial Aid:

If you are interested in receiving financial aid, including federal loans, and have not submitted your financial aid forms, review the links below:

5. Semester Start Date: The first day of classes for the spring 2024 semester is Thursday, January 25, 2024.
