Celebrating Financial Literacy Month at York College, CUNY

This is an excellent opportunity to build an impactful conversation between the students of York College and Commissioner Vilda Vera Mayuga from the NYC Department of Consumer and Worker Protection (DCWP).

DCWP understands the diversity of the city and the hope that connects us individuals from various paths they have taken to

• have an open conversation around common bonds
• share culture experience and traditions to break down silos between communities
• unite New Yorkers regardless of their background
• build an understanding, and aid in ending hate and discrimination

Our goal is to raise awareness of DCWP Commissioner Vilda Vera Mayuga’s story and leadership while cultivating a space where people from different backgrounds can meet and learn from one another.
