VoiceThread (VT) is a cloud application that enables your professors to post their lectures and you to create and share presentations and ideas in text, audio, or video format.
You can access VT from your Bb course sites if your professor use it.
VT Assignments
There are 3 types of VT assignments and you can work on a browser on your computer or your mobile device:
- creating a VT presentation, and submitting it to your professor or sharing it in your class, depending on how your professor wants it. This is how to do it: Submitting a Create Assignment
- commenting on videos, your professor's or peers' presentations. This is how to do it: Submitting a Comment Assignment
- viewing videos or your professor's presentations, lectures. This is how to do it: Submitting a Watch Assignment
If you need to create a VT presentation using a file, the acceptable file formats include .doc, .docx, .ppt, pptx, pdf, .xls, .xlsx as well as images and videos. For a complete list of acceptable file formats, check out the web page on File Types Accepted.
