FAFSA and TAP Filing Workshops

Financial Aid (FAFSA and TAP) Application Online Workshop Reservation and Information.

FAFSA and TAP Workshops, except for holidays, will be held in person and remotely Monday through Thursday.

Special FAFSA days are Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12pm - 2pm in room 3H14 except on public holidays.

The final date to file the FAFSA for the 2024-2025 academic year is June 30, 2025, and you can lose fall and spring financial aid by filing late. May 22, 2025, is the last day for fall and spring enrolled students at York to have a valid (non-rejected) EFC on file for 2024-20254 FAFSA to be considered for Title IV federal aid.

Note that the 2024-2025 FAFSA application has been available since December 2023.
The 2025-2026 FAFSA is previewed to lauch December 1, 2024 along with the TAP application.

You will need the following:

Your Social Security Number
Your Alien Registration Number (if you are not a U.S. citizen)
Your 2022 federal and state income tax returns, W-2s(2022), and other records of money earned
Your bank statements and records of investments (if applicable)
Records of untaxed income (if applicable)
An FSA ID to sign electronically

If you are a dependent student, then you will also need most of the above information for your parent(s).
