Abstract
Forensics describes the scientific methods used in an investigation. Pharmaceutical forensics is looking for evidence and using your scientific knowledge and know-how to find proof that will help solve issues in drug manufacturing, patient safety, and crimes. This talk will feature case studies along with the support provided by the FIT group at Bristol-Myers Squibb, protecting and providing patients with safe and high-quality medicines.

Speaker Bio
Dr. Ravi Kalyanaraman is the Director of the Forensics and Innovative Technologies (FIT) group at Bristol-Myers Squibb. With a PhD from the University of Idaho and post-doctoral work at the University of Puerto Rico, he has led the development of novel analytical techniques for detecting pharmaceutical counterfeits. His work focuses on spectroscopy, microscopy, and elemental analysis to ensure patient safety and manufacturing integrity.
