Walk-Up Services

These Walk-Up services are available during normal Library business hours at the IT Service Desk Library location on the third floor of the Academic Core room AC-3G01.

Network Account

  • Computer Logon – password reset, basic troubleshooting
  • Printing / Copying – password reset, add balance, unlock an account
  • Network Storage – password reset
  • Wireless Access – password reset, configure a laptop for access
  • VPN – password reset

CUNY

  • Blackboard – password reset, how to’s, and basic troubleshooting including escalation when needed
  • CUNYfirst - activation, and navigation
  • ePermit – password reset, Registrar's office access mitigation
  • Degree Audit / Cardinal Check – password reset, assist students to complete the ‘help’ form that goes to the Degree Works Coordinator
  • Password reset, assist to download free anti-virus and other software

Office 365

  • York College Official Microsoft Hosted Email – password reset, assist to activate the account
  • SkyDrive – password reset

Wireless Support

  • Help with WiFi access configuration on York issued wireless devices
  • Help with wireless printing in the Library
