FDS/Reporting
Some York College employees are required to file Financial Disclosure Statements and other necessary forms in compliance with New York State and CUNY ethics regulations. These disclosures promote transparency and prevent conflicts of interest by ensuring that employees meet legal and ethical standards.
Timely submission of these documents is essential to uphold accountability and integrity within the institution. Compliance with these regulations helps maintain public trust and aligns with CUNY’s commitment to ethical governance and professional conduct.
Financial Disclosure Statements (FDS)
York College employees whose annual salaries exceed a certain threshold or who are designated as "Policy Makers" are required to file annual Financial Disclosure Statements (FDS) under New York State Law. Information regarding FDS can be found on the New York State Commission on Ethics and Lobbying in Government (COELIG)’s webpage.
Academic filers (such as faculty) must file on or before November 15 (or the next business date; please check the COELIG website for the exact date in a given year). Non-academic filers (including academic department chairs) must file on or before May 15.
