Congressional District

Certain forms require your college's 'Congressional District number'

The SF-424 form, for example, requests a “Congressional District of Applicant” field, where, the grant-making agency expects a code that:

begins with your state’s two-letter abbreviation and ends with a three-digit district number, a hyphen separates the two parts
Example: “VA-001” [State of Virginia – 1^st Congressional District].

York College is located in the 5th Congressional District of New York.

The Congressional District of Applicant field should then be filled with: "NY-005"

Authorizing Official

The Authorizing/Signing Official or Grants Officer is the individual, in a particular institution, who is authorized to act for the applicant and to assume the obligations imposed by the Federal laws, regulations, requirements, and conditions that apply to grant applications or grant awards.
